Using KIGS (Kortho Image Generating Software), formats can be created and edited on a PC. Formats are easily designed to include various automatic codes, barcodes, multiline text and graphic files.
The convenient user friendly interface provides previews of exactly what will be printed. In the stand-alone mode, the images are downloaded from the PC to a pocket-sized Infrared Remote Transfer Device. On the production line, the transfer device is used to pass the format to one or more printers.
In the PC-controlled mode, Remote Access Control software allows you to send formats to the GraphicJet printer and to control all printing parameters as well as the printer status directly from your PC.
The Remote Access Control software also enables control of several printers in a network environment providing factory-wide control over each printer on the production line. This network can extend to cover wireless systems if required.

- Text - Characters sizes 6-54 with standard font. Texts can be changed on the control unit with “operator input”
- Automatic numbering - Batch codes, Lot numbering, pallet counting. Space for several numbering codes per label.
- Automatic date coding - Best before, production date and other date designations in various forms of notation, such as day of the week, week of the year, Dates can be changed on the control unit or PC.
- Automatic time coding - Time in various forms of notation. Multiple time codes possible in one label.
- Automatic shift codes - Up to 25 shift codes, definable over a maximum of 7 days. Multiple shift codes possible in one label.
- Barcodes - EAN8, EAN13, CODE 39, EAN128,UPCA,UPCE,CODE128 and ITF with adjustable height and module width. Multiple barcodes possible in one label
- Graphic Images - Logos can be imported in KIGS as black and white bitmaps. Depending on size, multiple logos per label are possible.
- Free Image layout - All codes can be freely placed within the design field (18*500). Every text, time, date, numbering or shift code can be rotated in 4 orientations: 0,90,180 and 270. Text or graphics can be aligned automatically, on a grid or by entering the exact coordinates for precise layout of the label.
